Huawei Mate X6 Foldable Receives Its First EMUI 15 Update
Huawei has begun rolling out the first update for the Mate X6, introducing the latest EMUI 15 version. As the only device featuring this new software, the foldable is now receiving refinements and stability improvements.
EMUI 15 marks the next major evolution in Huawei’s software ecosystem. While it debuted alongside the Mate X6, an official announcement for global users is still pending.
This initial update doesn’t bring major new features but focuses on improving system stability. The firmware arrives as EMUI version 15.0.0.139, with a package size of 319MB.
According to the changelog, the update enhances device stability, resolving potential glitches or interface issues. While there are no additional changes, installing this update ensures a smoother and more reliable user experience.

EMUI 15 Beta when?
Huawei started rolling out EMUI 14 beta in March last year. The OEM took a long time to release the new build but made instant moves while distributing it to regions.
Thus, we can expect to witness the EMUI 15 beta announcement by the next month. Although Huawei has yet to confirm this speculation alongside an official roadmap.
