Huawei Mate 70 Pro Could Soon Launch in a ‘Premium Edition’ Variant
Huawei’s Mate 70 series currently features four models, but a new leak suggests the company is preparing to introduce a special variant—the Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition. This new edition could bring unique upgrades and additional accessories compared to its standard counterparts.
Huawei frequently launches special versions of its flagship devices, such as the recently released Pura 70 Ultra Red Color Edition. The company also introduces customized editions that include extra accessories for users.
According to Weibo tipster @FixedFocus, Huawei is gearing up to release a Premium Edition of the Mate 70 Pro. While the exact launch date remains unknown, it is expected to debut later this month.
Reports indicate that this variant will be a “bundled version”, likely featuring additional accessories such as Huawei FreeBuds 6i or the new FreeArc earphones. If true, this could enhance the overall user experience by offering high-end audio wearables alongside the flagship smartphone.

This isn’t the first time Huawei has planned a Premium Edition for its Mate series. Previously, the company launched a similar variant for the Mate 60 Pro, which was bundled with FreeBuds 5 to offer an enhanced user experience.
The Mate 60 Pro Premium Edition was available in Green and Black, with the same core specifications as the standard model. The only difference was the inclusion of high-quality earbuds as a bonus. Huawei may take a similar approach with the Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition, potentially bundling it with exclusive accessories.
