Huawei Mate XT global teaser unveils artistic camera design secrets
Huawei is ramping up excitement for its Mate XT tri-fold design among global users, and the latest teaser unveils the secrets behind its artistic camera design. The video showcases the intricate craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies used to create the world’s first triple foldable phone.
Central to the design are the “eonic curves”—the elegantly sculpted edges surrounding the camera module. Like other premium models, the Mate XT features an octagonal lens bump accented with unique golden strips.
Reports reveal that Huawei fused 80 layers of steel into a single piece to form the camera bump. These steel layers underwent high-temperature processing to achieve an optimal shape and durability, marking just the first step in its construction.
The camera architecture was meticulously refined through 78 precision processes over 22 days of extreme-temperature treatments. Additionally, intricate engravings were applied throughout the camera assembly to deliver a “perfect beauty.” Together, these processes have resulted in the innovative eonic curves that define the tri-fold’s standout design.
Expert craftsmanship has resulted in a unique, one-of-a-kind pattern along the rim of the camera module. According to the global teaser, this meticulous attention to detail gives the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold an unparalleled design.
Huawei Mate XT is poised for its global debut on February 18. The launch is expected to feature additional exciting devices, such as a new audio gadget and a wrist wearable, though these details have yet to be confirmed.
