Camera details for the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ have started emerging online as the smartphones are expected to launch in May or June this year. With leaks surfacing, key specifications of these high-end Pura 80 variants are coming into focus.
Previously, reports highlighted the major camera specifications of the Pura 80 Ultra. Now, a new leak reveals upgrades to the main and periscope cameras for the Pro and Pro+ models.
Tipster DigitalChatStation suggests that the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ will likely feature the same primary lens as the Ultra variant, hinting at significant imaging advancements.
Pura 80 Pro+ Camera
The leak says that the Huawei Pura 80 Pro+ will use a 1-inch main camera and a 50MP periscope sensor. The periscope lens could belong to the OmniVision Group.
Pura 80 Pro Camera
The simple Pro handset will likely adopt a 1/1.3-inch primary lens and a 12MP periscope sensor. Here, the main camera could be similar to the Pura 80 Ultra phone.
For reference, the Pura 70 Pro and Pro+ features a 50MP main camera with a 48MP telephoto sensor. Looks like the upcoming Pura lineup will introduce better lens upgrades with impressive imaging capabilities than its predecessor.
