Huawei has officially unveiled its FreeArc earbuds, boasting a striking appearance that sets them apart in the open-back earphones category. With a unique design and standout features, these earbuds are poised to deliver a whole new level of audio experience.
The announcement was made at Huawei’s first ‘New Product Launch Event’ of 2025 in Japan, where the company also introduced other innovative devices such as the Watch D2 and FreeBuds Pro 4. While the Watch D2 and FreeBuds Pro 4 have already captured attention, FreeArc marks a fresh addition to the Huawei family.

FreeArc Earbuds
Huawei announces FreeArc earbuds with an eye-catching design. It adopts a hook-style design that can easily fit in your ears. It looks similar to the ears and forms a beautiful heart shape when both buds are kept side by side.
These are Huawei’s first-ever open-type earphones that hang over the ears. It carries a C-bridge form factor and has a Ni-Ti shape memory alloy for high durability. The company has crafted the buds with a skin-friendly silicon-knitting process.
Due to its hook look, the earphones are lightweight and support the ears in all types of movements. Whether you’re walking, running, cycling, or doing any other activity.

FreeArc earbuds are available in three colors: Grass Green, White, and Black. It has a 17 x 12mm highly-sensitive driver unit to provide powerful bass. The internal system of the bud consists of a titanium-plated composite diaphragm and a high-performance neodymium magnet that creates enhanced sound waves.
The overall mechanism has a sound-leak-proof design and easily transmits sound waves. The dual microphone offers a wind noise cancellation of 4m/s for calls.
It further equips a patented antenna layout that delivers a stable connection between your phone and earbuds. The device offers 28 hours of battery life with the charging box. Just 10 minutes of charging can offer 3 hours of music playback.
